Businesses in Newark and Sherwood can sign up for a series of free online webinars to improve their social media knowledge and learn how to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.

Delivered by Newark and Sherwood District Council and in partnership with local marketing agency, Nettl of Newark and Grantham, the webinars will walk businesses through how to get the most out of social media. Topics will include tips and tricks on using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tik Tok and developing a social media plan.

After completing the webinar series, there will also be the opportunity to qualify for free custom 1:1 consultation sessions with Nettl.

Newark and Sherwood businesses can register a staff member to attend the webinars by completing the online form on Nettl's website: https://www.nettl-newark-grantham.com/social/

Following registered interest, more information regarding course content and webinar dates will be provided.

The Let's Get Social webinars are part of Newark and Sherwood District Council's wider support to businesses in the district. Support includes events where businesses can get expert insight and advice, including a recent support surgery organised with D2N2 Growth Hub and the third Economic Growth Conference in October this year. Through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the District Council has also funded programmes supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs, including the Business Growth and Resilience Programme and the Rural Business Investment Programme.
